The Havalinas was formed in 1990 togehter with former Rockats bassist
Smutty Smith and Cruzados drummer Chalo Quintana. The group issued one
self-titled album in 1990, which was performed on acoustic instruments.

I think we must have been the loudest acoustic band that ever existed...on
the record i used every acoustic stringed instrument i could get my hands
on, the producer Don Gehmen basically let us throw a bunch of insanity
on tape than sorted through it...i like the record...the band did alot
of live in the studio demos i think i like even more...
